INVITATION to CC #8 - Project Sharing

Dear all,
We hope you have started 2024 well and with fresh energy. We are excited to continue our conversations about all things curatorial by introducing a new mode of communication: Substack!
Our last session in October 2023 titled Looking Back to Look Forward invited the group to think through what was important to further support and grow this community for curatorial exchange. The image below highlights some of the ideas shared, with key take aways being a desire to have a space where we can connect between meetings and to get to know each others practices and projects better in order to enrich the conversations and connections.
We believe the Substack format, with its features that allow comments on posts and note sharing, will be a good place to engage whilst also sharing our news and meeting updates more concisely.
It also allows the community to grow organically with people able to sign up to the newsletter. So in this new year we invite you again to share the link onwards to colleagues and friends who may be interested to receive the updates and hopefully engage in the sessions.
Do bear with us as we play and experiment with the potential of the platform and please do also join us in testing what it can bring!

NEXT SESSION: Project Sharing

What has everyone been up to in the past months? What are you researching? Have you got a project in progress, recently concluded or just a seed of an idea that you would like to share with the group? Last time, the project sharing session allowed those present a great opportunity to better understand the curatorial contexts people in the group are working within and we very much hope this can happen again, opening up doors for collaboration and support where needed.
